Visit to Zarqa Life Center Association
Students from Grade 9 had the opportunity to visit the Zarqa Life Center on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, for an enriching artistic and socio-cultural experience.
The association works to support the well-being of refugee women, Jordanian women, and children with special needs.
During the visit, students participated in various workshops: Arabic coffee preparation, henna, Jordanian thyme preparation, traditional soap making, Arabic calligraphy on coffee cups, dabkeh dancing, and makloubeh tasting.
“The Earth Needs Only One Dead Sea” Project
The project “The Earth Needs Only One Dead Sea” is coming to a poetic conclusion. With the help of eco-delegates, letters written by most students from CM1 to Grade 12, as well as some staff members, were placed in plastic bottles that will later be recycled. Each student then received a “message thrown into the sea,” containing an awareness message about plastic pollution in the oceans.
At the secondary school, we recycle paper and plastic. We need your support.
Thank you to Mrs Nathalie and the students for this wonderful project.
Children’s Rights Day – November 20
On the occasion of Children’s Rights Day, CE1 students wore blue to celebrate and raise awareness of this cause.
A beautiful way to show that every child deserves respect, protection, and care.
2nd Day of the UNSS French Chess Championship
On Wednesday, December 10, the LFiA participated in the 2nd Day of the UNSS French Chess Championship. Seven students competed for two hours against French high schools from around the world.
The next competition will take place on February 4, 2026.
Using AI to Enhance Oral Expression in Spanish
As part of the Week of French Schools Around the World 2025, Grade 11 students studying Spanish used the artificial intelligence tool Perplexity.com to explore new ways to improve their oral participation.
AI suggested using images to help students learn and retain vocabulary more easily and encouraged them to describe images to express themselves more freely.
Food Drive
The Student Council (CVL) is organizing a collection of non-perishable food items on both campuses to support families in East Amman.
Examples: pasta, rice, canned goods, oil, flour, biscuits, coffee…
Thank you for your generosity! Every donation makes a difference.
CP Class Delegate Elections
For their very first class delegate election, students from the four CP classes shared their first experience of democracy.
Congratulations to everyone, and well done to our elected representatives!
CE2 Project: Olive Harvest and Oil Press Visit

Environment and Climate Month
“Échos d’Escale” Project
The CM2-1 class is participating in the Échos d’Escale project by the Tara Ocean Foundation.
Students imagined a fictional ship, “Le Guépard des Mers,” traveling around the world with three stopovers: Maupihaa, Ushuaia, and the Atlantic Ocean, to conduct scientific work.
On Tuesday, December 2, the class joined a videoconference organized by the Tara Foundation with the captain. Students learned about life on board and the profession of an oceanographic ship captain and asked prepared questions.
They are now ready for their virtual world tour!
Climate Fresk Workshop
As part of their science course, Grade 12 students participated in a Climate Fresk workshop.
This activity helped them better understand the causes and consequences of climate change in a supportive and interactive environment.
Video: “And You, What Will You Change?”
Our eco-delegates present their missions and the Sustainable Development Goals in this video.
Awareness, concrete actions, and commitment to the planet are on the agenda!
