Francophonie
Francophonie will be celebrated at the LFiA from 13 to 21 March 2021. A lot of projects are underway: poetry, theatre, dictation, photo competition, videos, drawings… Let’s celebrate Francophonie together !
Agenda
Grades from 4 to 11 will join those who have started on 7th February. By 7th March, buses and the cafeteria will be in operation.

Grades 4 and 5 : Start time 8:30 a.m. – Exit time 2:02 p.m.
Grades 6 and 7 : Start time 8:25 am – Exit time 3:10 pm
Grades 8 and 9 : Start time 9:25 a.m. – Exit time 4:10 p.m.
Grades 10 and 11 : Start time 9:25 a.m. – Exit time 5:10 p.m.

Grade 12 students must enter their orientation “wishes” on www.parcoursup.fr before 12 March 12:59am, Amman time.
Monday 8 March 2021 : presentation of specialities of the new « Bac » by the students of grades 11 and 12 and their teachers to the students of grade 10. Details to come.
Staff turnover
Mr. Jerôme Kiman, Physical Education teacher at High school returns to France, he will be replaced by Mr. Jean-Pierre Hayek at the re-opening of the school.

Dana Aljarrah, Vie Scolaire employee, has left the LFiA. Good luck for her business project and welcome to Farah Haddad, new member of Vie Scolaire !

Diverse and practical information
Thanks to the volunteer mothers, 2 groups of 5 pupils for the 2nd cycle and 2 groups of 5 pupils for the 3rd cycle have been benefiting from this system since last week.
Reinforcement lessons during the winter holidays ( 1 of 2 weeks). The families of the students concerned were contacted directly.
Deir Ghbar : FLE (Grade 1-Grade 5) and Arabic foreign language (3rd cycle and Grade 7)
From 8 :30am to 11 :30am
Yadoudeh : FLE and Maths (Grades 6,7,8,9 and 10)
From 8:45am to 11:15am
Every member of the LFiA staff and its partners ( Wassita, G4S, LSS and transport company) have to do a PCR test within 72 hours before 7th March 2021.
Like every school year, GS pupils had a medical check-up under the school doctor’s and our nurses’ supervision.
The medical check-up for grade 6 will be arranged in May/June 2021.
