French Fun Fair, Graduation Ceremony, Language Olympiads and much more. Here is the last LFiA newsletter for the 2022/2023 school year. We wish you a great summer vacation! You have all deserved it!

Graduation ceremony (Grade 12)

In the presence of His Excellency Mr. Alexis Le Cour Grandmaison, Ambassador of the French Republic of Jordan, the LFiA closed the 2022/2023 school year with a graduation ceremony for the senior class.
We wish them all the best of luck for their future studies! 

Kindergarten / grade 1 ceremony at high school

On Sunday 18 June, after the end-of-year party for the kindergarten students, the KG 2 students officially received their certificates of passage to Grade 1 in the presence of their families. The performances were a great success! Well done to the students and to the teachers!

Baccalaureate results

LFiA grade 12 students Baccalaureate results: 100% of success rate, 93% of honors. All students have had access to the majors they have applied for. 

Results of the National Brevet Diploma

LFiA grade 9 students National Brevet Diploma results: 95.5% of success rate, 93% of honors. Well done to our promising future high school students!

ASSR Exam

Students of grade 9 and grade 7 had the opportunity to take their ASSR exams within the establishment. The School Road Safety Certificate (ASSR) trains young people in driving rules, accident prevention and first aid. This test also gives a taste of the preparation for obtaining their driving license, a next test to face. 

French Fun Fair

We were delighted to see all the LFiA families at the French Fun Fair on Friday 16 June 2023. A big thank you to our sponsors, the parents of the festivities committee and all the teachers and staff who contributed to this wonderful day.

Kindergarten Carnival

Inspired by artist Isabelle Kessedjian, this year’s traditional Kindergarten Carnival took place under the theme “When I grow up…!”
The kindergarten students fascinated us with their costumes highlighting their favorite professions. It was a colorful parade. The students then performed the Boogie Woogle dance and a song for their parents. 

LFiA Champions League

LFiA students have ended the year on a sporting note with a football competition. Thank you to the parents/teachers for their participation, to the students for their motivation and to the former students for their visit! 

Language Olympiads

The 2023 Language Olympiads took place on Wednesday, June 21st at Yadoodeh site. All the students from 6th to 12th grade took part in the morning games combining sport and the 5 languages that are studied at the LFiA. It was also an opportunity to celebrate French Music Day with a pop/rock concert by Tarneeb band. It was a lovely day for students and teachers ahead of summer break! 

First graders and electricity

The grade 1 students have been studying electrical circuits in series, using a flat battery, a lamp, a switch, a motor and, of course, electric cables to connect them all. They were delighted to build their first electrical circuit. 

Writing competition

Students of Grade 4, grade 5 and secondary school participated in a writing competition. The jury was impressed by the quality of their work. 

Grade 5 and 6 exchange

As part of the preparation of grade 5 students to become secondary school students, an exchange was organized between grade 6 students and grade 5 students. During the exchange, the grade 6 students answered questions from their classmates in grade 5. 

International Youth Games

Six students from the LFiA traveled to France to represent Jordan at the International Youth Games. They had the honor of meeting the General Director of the AEFE, Mr Olivier Brochet, in Pau, France. 

Where are our graduates now?

Sarah Jahshan (Class of 2019) has just finished her first year of Master’s degree at Science Po Paris. 

Our students have a talent !

Jérôme Kattar in grade 9 took part in an international boxing competition. He won the gold medal in his category. 

Congratulations to Estel Bigorra Gbialy from grade 5 who has just been awarded her black belt in karate! 

Number Race - Middle East zone

Congratulations to our students from Grade 4 to grade 10 who won the first three places in the mathematics competition (Number Race) at the school, and congratulations to the team who were rewarded with a fine third place in the Middle East zone.

‘’Save a life’’ for King Hussein Cancer Center

Thanks to the sale of T-shirts for the solidarity run they organized, the LFiA students raised 1,080 JOD. This sum will be used to purchase a medical equipment for the King Hussein Cancer Centre on behalf of the LFiA. 

8th grade trip

The head teachers of grade 8 classes have organized an end-of-year trip!
The students were able to compete on a go-kart track and play detective in an escape room. A great way to end the school year! 

School Activity students trip

The LFiA’s school activity team rounded off this year’s training sessions with a laser tag/paintball outing. Here are a few photos of the snipers and marksmen.
