Back to School 2025–2026
After a warm pre-start marked by welcoming new families and staff, the new school year at LFiA began in a lively and friendly atmosphere.
Laughter, reunions, discoveries… Students returned to class with enthusiasm, ready to take on the challenges of the new academic year.
The teaching team was fully engaged to ensure a smooth and motivating start.
A great momentum has been set: the year promises to be full of projects, learning, and wonderful achievements!
Last First Day of School for Our Senior Students
Our Terminale (12th grade) students marked their last first day of school in a festive and unforgettable way!
To the lively rhythm of a zaffah, they made a grand entrance into the school, greeted with applause and smiles from the entire school community.
We wish each and every one of them a year full of success, cherished memories, and joyful moments!

Parent-Teacher Meetings
The first parent-teacher meetings of the year were held this week in the primary and secondary sites, in a warm and constructive atmosphere.
This time of exchange allowed families to discover their children’s learning and living environment, meet the teaching team, and gain a better understanding of the academic goals for the year.
Choir begins in Deir Ghbar
Students from TPS to CE2 began their choir sessions with great enthusiasm and curiosity. Led by their teacher, Ms. Taleen Hindeleh, they are discovering the joy of singing together in a joyful and caring atmosphere.
A delightful musical project that promises wonderful shared moments throughout the year!
Eco-Delegates Meeting
A wonderful moment of sharing and exchange among the eco-delegates of the Lycée Français International d’Amman.
This meeting was an opportunity to thank each eco-delegate for their commitment, responsibility, and involvement throughout the school year.
Let’s continue to make a difference, together.
National School Sports Day
Students from cycles 1, 2, and 3 enthusiastically took part in National School Sports Day.
This day allowed everyone to come together around various sports activities, fostering a spirit of sharing and friendliness.
A highlight event to encourage a love of effort, cooperation, and the joy of moving together.
Red Color Day
On Sunday, September 21, the TPS/PS and PS classes celebrated Red Color Day.
The children first explored the classroom looking for red objects.
Then, during snack time, each child had the opportunity to present a red food item they had brought.
First Visit to LFiA by Representatives from Concordia and McGill Universities
On Tuesday, September 16, the LFiA had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from the prestigious Canadian universities Concordia and McGill for the first time.
This meeting was a great opportunity for students and their families to learn more about the programs, admission requirements, and opportunities offered by these internationally recognized institutions.
A valuable exchange to better prepare higher education plans and open new guidance perspectives.
Introduction of the Varsity Team Coaches
Just before the official launch of school sports activities, the coaches of the Varsity teams were introduced to the students at LFiA.
This passionate and dedicated team is ready to support our budding athletes throughout the year, helping them develop their skills, team spirit, and motivation.

American University of Beirut and Meditteraneo AUB Cyprus Visit LFiA for the First Time
On Monday, September 22, the American University of Beirut (AUB) and Meditteraneo AUB Cyprus visited the LFiA for the first time to introduce themselves to students and their parents.
This meeting provided a wonderful opportunity to learn about the programs, admission requirements, and opportunities offered by these prestigious institutions.
Parents and students were able to speak directly with the AUB representatives to better prepare their academic and career plans.
Extracurricular activities have begun!
Since Sunday, September 21st, extracurricular activities have been launched at the LFiA with enthusiasm and energy. Between workshops, sports, clubs, and projects, students have already enjoyed getting together and participating.

Where Are Our Graduates Now?
Sophie Guzman (Class of 2025): First year of Bachelor of Global Engineering (BoGE) at Gustave Eiffel University – CentraleSupélec, located in Champs-sur-Marne, France.
Our Students Have Talent
Congratulations to Rayan Alkhas, a 10th-grade student, who won two medals this summer with the Jordanian national basketball teams: a bronze medal at the West Asian Games in Lebanon and a gold medal at the national school tournament in Amman.
After a summer dedicated to training, Rayan is now ready to join the LFIA varsity team practices.
Congratulations to Faris Ammari, a CM2-1 student, who recently participated in the national UCMAS competition.
Thanks to his dedication, focus, and hard work, he brilliantly secured second place!
We are very proud of his performance, which rewards all his efforts.
Well done, Faris, on this great achievement, and all our best wishes for continued success!
Congratulations to Giselle Elkour, a CM1-CM2 student, who participated in the JSF – 2025 National Swimming Clubs Competition.
Representing the Orthodox club, she stood out by winning several silver medals in the following events:
- 50m breaststroke
- 100m breaststroke
- Girls’ 4x100m freestyle relay
- Girls’ 4x100m medley relay
- Mixed 4x100m freestyle relay
