School Sports Day, Pink October, autumn break, the agenda, and much more! Here is Newsletter No. 76!

School Sports Day

Relive the highlights of School Sports Day with our primary school students, a day defined by sport, sharing, and good spirits.
Our students share how the day unfolded and invite you to discover the various activities in which they took part.

Meeting on the Organizational Structure

Ahead of the elections for parent representatives, a meeting was held at LFiA to present the school’s organizational structure, explain the roles of the different bodies, and outline how they operate.
We would like to warmly thank all parents for their attendance, participation, and commitment to school life.

Problem-Solving, Teamwork and Togetherness at the CCC

Problem-solving, concentration, and team spirit were all on display at the CCC! Our students gathered around a puzzle, sharing ideas and helping one another to tackle the challenge together.
A lovely moment of relaxation and teamwork among students.

Class Representative Elections

Our primary and secondary school students took part in the elections for their class representatives and eco-representatives.
This was a wonderful opportunity for them to make their voices heard, take on responsibilities, and actively engage in school life.

“Study in France” Information Meeting

LFiA was delighted to welcome grade 11 and 12 students to an information meeting dedicated to studying in France.
The session provided students with an opportunity to explore the different study opportunities available in France, better understand the application process, and learn more about the universities and schools participating in the University Fair held at IFJ on October 17.
We would like to warmly thank Ms. Saaidia, Attaché for University and Scientific Cooperation at the French Embassy, for her valuable advice and engaging discussions with our students.

Agenda

The autumn holidays begin on Friday, October 16, and continue until Saturday, October 31.
We wish you a wonderful, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday!
We look forward to welcoming you back on Sunday, November 1, when classes resume.

– Saturday, October 17

Student Volunteering with Médecins Sans Frontières

LFiA students had the opportunity to take part in a volunteering project with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) during their summer holidays.
Every Monday, for approximately six weeks, the students, accompanied by adults, met at the MSF hospital in Marka to spend time playing and sharing enjoyable moments with the children receiving treatment there. The volunteers organized a variety of activities, taking into consideration each child’s physical abilities. These included adapted sports activities, board games, and educational games.
The children also had the opportunity to leave the hospital and enjoy an afternoon at Galaxy Park, where they were supervised by the volunteers. This change of environment allowed them to relax, have fun, and enjoy a different setting outside the hospital.
All of these activities were made possible thanks to the MSF team, under the supervision of Ms. Zeinab, whom we warmly thank for her support and trust.
These afternoons were particularly meaningful and enjoyable. They gave the children an opportunity to interact with others, have fun, and learn, while also providing the students with a very enriching and rewarding experience.

Pink October at LFiA

As part of Pink October, our Grade 10 students came together to support breast cancer awareness.
They organized a charity sale of items, with all proceeds going to the King Hussein Cancer Center and Foundation.
A Pink Day was also held on October 15 to show our collective support for this important cause.

Fire Evacuation Exercise

To strengthen safety awareness, a fire evacuation exercise was organized across both school campuses.
Take a look at this practical exercise, which helps our students and staff develop the right reflexes and follow the appropriate safety procedures in an emergency.
