This day highlighted the richness of the Arabic language through cultural activities and moments of exchange, while exploring the connection between the Arabic language and artificial intelligence, underscoring its historical significance and global influence.

Speech contest

3 students in Year 11 HLP (Humanity, Literature and Philosophy) took part in an oratorical contest organised by Mme Bouet in the Library. This exercise is part of a course on rhetoric and will lead to the setting up of an eloquence competition for the secondary school.

No to Bullying Week
No to Bullying Week at Yadoodeh

At the high school, the No to Bullying week was marked by a number of high points of sharing and enthusiasm: class discussions on bullying and the role of each person, a group dance, activities on kindness, Hochic Bachoc day to reinforce the spirit of inclusion with a moment of sharing a snack, which also added to the conviviality, and games led by the senior students with students from grade 6 and 7. Last but not least, there was a day of cooperation, which enabled the students to work closely together under the guidance of their parents.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this week.

No to Bullying Week in Deir Ghbar

At Deir Ghbar, No to Bullying Week was a celebration of caring, friendship, sharing, collaboration and empathy.
Each class explored these values in its own way, through unique and inspiring activities.
We hope that these moments will allow the students to grow together, strengthen their bonds and build a warm and respectful environment.

No to Bullying art project

The middle school students received personalised letters sent by people from different places and times, recounting their experiences of bullying at school. These letters explained the situations they had experienced, and the students were invited to respond by advising the recipients on how to react to this situation. The students then created artistic portraits representing both the physical appearance and the emotional state of these people, through expressive works. Once the projects had been posted, the true identities of the recipients were revealed: they were celebrities who had been victims of bullying at school but who, by overcoming this ordeal, had become inspirational figures for thousands of people.

Visit from Mrs Cuvilier and Mrs Magnin

The LFiA was delighted to welcome Ms Cuvillier, educational advisor for the Middle/ Near East zone of the AEFE network, and Ms Magnin, English language trainer.
From 3 to 5 December, workshops were organised to encourage fruitful collaboration between language teachers and primary school teachers.
We would like to thank them warmly for their presence and their valuable support during these days.

Training for secondary school delegates

The Director of Secondary School organised a training course for delegates from middle and high schools.
This exchange helped to strengthen their skills and better prepare them to represent their fellow students effectively and with commitment.

EMILE breakfast

As part of our EMILE theme on health, the CE2 classes organized a healthy breakfast with their English teachers. Each student contributed by bringing a dish representing one of the food groups, and together, we created a breakfast buffet that covered all levels of the food pyramid. To wrap up the morning, the students completed a checklist to ensure they had enjoyed a balanced meal. It was a delightful morning filled with fun, responsibility, and shared moments between students, teachers, and parents. A special thank you to the volunteer parents who helped make this event a success.

Storytelling in Arabic

We were delighted to welcome Mrs Mais Saad from the Jordanian publishing house Dar Al Zeenat Dodi, who shared with the nursery and first-year classes some captivating stories from the publishing house, told in Arabic. A moment rich in discovery and cultural exchange, which delighted young and old alike.

After an enriching visit, they had the opportunity to learn about this craft by creating some magnificent mosaics themselves.

Thank you for this enriching meeting!

Participation in the career fair: Bridge Fair

Our secondary school students and their parents took part in the Bridge Fair career fair, where they had the opportunity to ask questions to Campus France, which was on hand to answer questions about studying in France. It was an invaluable opportunity to get information and advice on academic paths.
