New Itslearning space – Conseil d’établissement

The LFiA has created a space in Itslearning accessible from your parent Itslearning accounts (not from your children accounts) to allow you to exchange effectively and without intermediary with your representatives at the Conseil d’Établissement.!

Orientation

Monday, February 6 from 3:25 p.m. to 4:20 p.m., the University Cooperation Attaché of the French Embassy, Mr. Troy, and the representative of Campus France in Amman, Ms. Malkawi, will make a presentation to all students from grade 10 to grade 12, to talk about the higher education in France.
The secondary school parents will also be able to meet them from 5:00 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. at the cafeteria of the secondary school to ask all their questions about studying in France.

On Wednesday February 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:25 a.m., grade 11 and grade 12 students will make with their teachers a presentation about the Baccalaureate specialties to the grade 10 students.

MUN (Model United Nations)

From January 26 to 28, students from grade 12, 11 and 10 took part in the 12th annual conference of the MUN (Model United Nations). This conference was, this time, organized by the National Orthodox School at the Sheraton Hotel in Amman. Three days of intense debate on this year’s theme, “We the People”.
Congratulations to all the students, especially to our students Selma ATOUT and Axel GRUNDBERG RYDMARK who won the title of “best delegate”.

First aid training

First aid training was given to grade 9 students on Sunday 29 January.
On Wednesday, February 1st , it will be the turn of the grade 10 students and on the following three Sundays, the other 9 grade class and the two grade 8 classes will benefit from the same training.
Many thanks to the 2 trainers from the embassy who give their time for the students.

Arbor Day

On the occasion of Arbor Day, LFiA eco-representatives visited the Royal Botanic Garden in Tal Al Roman on Sunday January 22, 2023. After a presentation about Jordan’s reforestation objectives, they planted trees in the presence of H.R.H. Princess Basma Bent Ali, and the Minister of Agriculture Mr. Khaled Hneifat.
Thank you to the FAO in Jordan for organizing this day and to the staff of the Royal Botanic Garden for welcoming the students with such kindness and availability.

A meal with the Partners

Partner companies of LFiA contribute efficiently to the daily routine at school. The effort of each leads to everyone’s progress. We shared a traditional meal to say thank you.

Our students have a talent!

Congratulations to our student Aline Alnaser from grade 4 who participated in the Kids Open Winter Championship 2022 organized by the Jordanian swimming federation in December 2022 where she was able to win:
– First place in the 50m freestyle.
– Second place in the 50m breaststroke.
– Third place in the 50m backstroke.
