The street art in Jordan
The grade 4 students had the opportunity to do the Downtown and Hashimi al Shamali tours offered by the Jordanian organization Underground Amman on street art in Jordan. With the artist and founder Alaedin Rahmeh, the students, divided into photographer/writer pairs, discovered this form of art, which gives its wonderful colors and its original identity to Amman. This visit is part of the exhibition realization on Street art in Jordan.
This year, a group of grade 10 students from the LFiA submitted two applications for the Freedom Prize organized by the Normandy region in France.
It was Mark Melkonian who was selected to be a member of the jury for this award. He participated with 24 other students in the selection process of the three finalists for the Freedom Prize, from Monday February 6 to February 11, 2023 in Caen.
The Freedom Prize invites young people aged between 15 to 25 in France and around the world to nominate each year a person or an organization engaged in an exemplary fight for freedom.
World Water Day
The LFiA continues to work on sustainable development: on the occasion of World Water Day, all the students from kindergarten to the grade 12 class have participated in a brainstorming.
Their ideas were gathered to be shown in a video. Thank you all!
