Environment week
Creating art from old books

Discover the works of art created by our Grade 4 and Grade 5 students from old books! A fine example of creativity during Environment Week.

Let's recycle the snack

The KG2 students present their painting entitled “Let’s recycle the snack” inspired by the colorful paintings of artist Sophie Costa.
Using an artistic approach, they collected, sorted and reused snack wrappers and juice cartons to create a collective work of art. The aim was to raise children’s awareness of the importance of sorting, reusing and recycling.

Cardboard recycling

Creation of a model of Amman using cardboard. Pre-2, Pre1 and KG1 classes worked together to recycle cardboard boxes for creative purposes (with the help of parents: cardboard boxes and help with production). The students also worked on their nationality.
This project shows that the LFiA is international!

Recycled waste monsters

Grade 2 students were made aware of the issue of waste: after collecting and sorting waste, they used it to create monsters representing the environmental impact of waste.

Planting seeds and plants

First and third graders planted seeds and plants at the elementary school. Animals from the “Jungle Book” can now hide in this jungle in the making.
