Like each edition of the newsletter, the usual headings are there, but this number 24 highlights the actions carried out in the school for the orientation of our students.

Orientation
3rd February : a visit from a representative of Sorbonne university Abu Dhabi to 2nd grade students!
Presentation of EPFL school to 12th grade students
On 13th February, two previous students of LFiA, Youssef Kacem and Yassin Alnuaimee, presented their current school “Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne” to 12th grade students.

– Thursday 24th February preventive actions : conference on eating disorders. (for 8th grade to 12th grade students)
– Friday 18th March
– Wednesday 16th March : N°7 primary school teachers conference.
– Saturday March 12 : French for 11th grade (from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
– Monday 7th March : general high school competition, French composition test (from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.).
Miscellaneous
Following the new government instructions and after verification from Jordanian Ministry of Education,
the persons who have positive test will be isolated for only 5 days and they will return on the 6th day, without a new test, counting from the date of test.
Being a contact case no longer requires isolation, students can attend the class normally.
The health protocol remains as usual for everyone, everywhere and at all times:
social distancing, ventilation, wearing masks and washing hands.
The winter break starts from Friday 25th February,
Resumption of classes on Wednesday 9th March
Happy holidays!
The last extra-curricular activities of the 2nd term will be extended until Thursday 10th March instead of Thursday 17th February.
The 3rd term of AES will start on Sunday 13th March and will end on Thursday 2nd June 2022.
On Wednesday 9th March, a new giant chess will be installed on each of both LFiA sites.
Careers Forum
The educational forum was held online on this Saturday 5th February, but the Careers Forum has been postponed to spring, the exact date and time will be announced as soon as possible.
Specialties presentation to 10th year students
A specialties presentation was made by the teachers and 12th, 11th grade students to 10th grade students so that they could make the best choice of course.

Valentine's Day at LFiA
Winter camp 2022
You can now register your child for the winter camp organized by the French Institute of Jordan on the primary school site for 6 to 11 years old children.
