Friday February 24 is the 1st day of the winter break, return to classes on Tuesday March 7 in the morning.

ADN-AEFE

The grade 10 students, belong to the AEFE global network, exist in 138 countries and bring together 566 schools, can be part of 6-week exchange.
This is the case for our student Joaquim and for José, who come from the Lycée français Jules Verne in Guatemala City.
In 2023, LFiA student volunteers also obtained exchanges with the French Lycée in Pondicherry, the International School in Hong Kong, the International School in Carthage and the Lycée Blaise-Pascal in Abidjan.
With ADN-AEFE, students enrich their educational path while benefiting from continuity in learning.

Jordan model parliament

A group of 10 grade and 11 grade students participated in the Jordan model parliament conference, which took place on Thursday 16 and Friday 17, February at King’s Academy School.
Congratulations to the students for their participation, their very high level of eloquence, and their proposals.

Récréa-Français

Since the beginning of November, primary school students have been participating in the “Récréa-Français” game set up by the director, which consists of encouraging students to speak French during the breaks.
At the end of this period, it was our class 1 of the 1st grade students who distinguished themselves and won a school trip, to the children’s museum.
This trip took place on February 1, 2023.
It was funded by the events committee of the LFiA.
Congratulations for their winning! 

Moral and civic education

As part of an EMC (moral and civic education) class devoted to the functioning of democracy, the 2 classes of grade 9 students discussed possible solutions to fight against abstention during elections.
Bravo for their involvement in their citizenship learning! 

Saint-Valentin

On Tuesday, February14, LFiA students celebrated Valentine’s Day by buying roses for their classmates and their teachers.
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone. 

A friendly basketball Match

A friendly match against King’s Academy. A commitment at all times, and a great success. Bravo to them!

Pierre Potier Prize

After watching the presentation videos of the 6 finalist candidates for the Pierre Potier Prize for High School Students, the grade 11 students in the physics-chemistry specialty had the opportunity to vote for the project that they liked the most, keeping two selection criteria on mind: Does this project represent a breakthrough innovation? Does this innovation represent a sustainable solution with a possible impact on society?
The Pierre Potier Prize for High School Students aims to introduce high school students to innovations in chemistry in favor of sustainable development. May the best win!

Specialities’ presentation

The grade 10 students will soon have to personalize their academic path by choosing the specialities they want to follow next year. To help them make their choice, the school organized a presentation by the grade 11 and 12 students and their teachers of the seven specialities offered at the LFiA.

Career Fair

To all LFiA students from grade 8 to grade 12 and their families! Come and discover passionate professionals who will help you to find an orientation adapted to your profile on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 12:30 p.m. to 02:30 p.m. at the high school (Yadoodeh).

Study in France presentation

Mr. Billy Troy, Attaché of University Cooperation at the French Embassy, and Ms. Hind Malkawi, Campus France representative in Amman, introduced the higher education in France to the high school students and their parents. 

CM2 volcanoes

After studying volcanoes, the grade 5 students prepared very original models. Congratulations to all participants for their creativity! 

Media and information education

The 2022-2023 school year, in the network of French education abroad, is placed under the sign of media and information education.
As part of this, the grade 5 students, with their French language teacher and their class teacher, made a school newspaper on the theme of story. 

Sport association

AS football and volleyball, students have received their jerseys!
