French Language and Francophonie Week 2022

Writing contest

To all students from the 4th grade to 12th grade, you still have the chance to participate in the writing contest organized by the LFiA!

Wednesday 30th March : N°8 primary school board of education meeting

Saturday 26th March : Philosophy (4h) for 12th grade students

Miscellaneous

Following the new government instructions and after verification from Jordanian Ministry of Education,
the persons who have positive test will be isolated for only 5 days and they will return on the 6th day, without a new test, counting from the date of test.
Being a contact case no longer requires isolation, students can attend the class normally.
The health protocol remains as usual for everyone, everywhere and at all times:
social distancing, ventilation, wearing masks and washing hands.

As a reminder, the general French high school competition distinguishes the best students from general, technological and professional French high schools around the world.

Every year, the LFiA organizes medical check-ups for 1st and 6th grade students in cooperation with the school doctor and nurses.
The 6th grade medical check-ups will take place on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th March, the ones for 1st grade students will take place during the week of March 27th to 31st.

Giant Chess

On Thursday 9th March, a new giant chess games were installed on each of both LFiA sites.

Eating disorders conference

On the initiative of two CVL students, Muna NABILSI and Lili GALLIENNE, an eating disorders conference was organized on Thursday 24th February 2022.

Circus preparation

1st ,2nd and 3rd grade students are training in the various circus workshops in order to prepare for the big circus show on 24th May 2022 for the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the LFiA.
They learn how to juggle, balance, dance and even do acrobatics!

1st grade students sing "it’s water"

1st grade students worked during this period on the water cycle and its states. They ended the sequence with the song “it’s water”. Listen to them!

Parent interviews

The Web radio students interviewed the parents who came to help the teachers during circus training at school.

Basketball matches

Congratulations to our two basketball teams (CM and college) who won their friendly matches on Friday 18th February against the Orthodox Club team.

The founders of Eco hikers, came to present their project to the 12th grade students

Here are some photos that were captured during the presentation by Nader Manaseer and Ala Mansour the founders of the Eco hikers project who came and spoke to the 12th grade students.
The objective of their project is to raise public awareness about waste collection and the preservation of the environment during excursions through various sites in Jordan.
Through social media, the two activists emphasized the notion of civic responsibility, a theme seen within the framework of the English (core curriculum of) ” Citizenship and Virtual Worlds “.

"Dead2red" race

Two of LFiA teachers took part in the Dead Sea/Red Sea relay race on 10th and 11th March, the first one is Damien Lacourarie as a runner and the 2nd one is Sébastien Pillot, driving a car to provide logistics. Congratulations to our colleagues for their courage and participation!
